Enjoy2swim was founded in January 2012 and was born from a passion to create well structured, individual, tailor made, quality assured lessons on a one to one basis, for both adults and children, or small groups for more confident swimmers.
As an independent swim teacher, I am required to have a lifeguard qualification (reviewed every 2 years), I am registered with the STA Swimming Teachers Association, hold a First Aid at Work Certificate (renewed every 3 years) and am NRASTC compliant. So, you can rest assured you and your children are in safe hands!
We have always been on the lookout for a bigger pool and we finally found it! April 2018 saw us start a new chapter in our history and we are so happy that our new home will be at St Georges Preparatory School swimming pool.
The pool and its location are perfect for us as it matches the Enjoy2swim ethos by providing and developing a small, bespoke lessons which will all take place in a tranquil and peaceful setting which is conducive to learning.
So why not pop in, see me and kick start your life changing experience and enjoy the freedom of the water.
Julie and I look forward to welcoming you to Enjoy2swim and we promise a warm welcoming environment await you.

One to One Lessons for Children
One to one children’s lessons are primarily for children who are not confident in the water and have made little or no progress in a class environment. I accompany the child in the water to build confidence and work together. I also gently encourage them to blow bubbles in the water while working on putting their face in to the water and gradually building to full water emersion using songs and nursery rhymes appropriate to the age of the child
Enjoy2swim builds on these skills each week until the child can swim unaided on both their front and back and can fully immerse comfortably and safely in the water.
Armbands are not used, opting for noodles and kickboards as the preferred choice of swim aids. One to one time is valuable with the child as they can work on strokes and skills to prepare the child to re-enter a class environment. When children have gained confidence they will progress even further!
